Now “Pay Per Post” with more opportunities for bloggers and adverstisers

Posted by youlki22 on July 6, 2008

I have prevously written some posts about blog advertising, which is in a way blog promotion trick. As you write some review or post about the advertisers site or product, your post is exposed to many people who are searching for that typical site or product at the net.

Advertisers are also happy to get advertising throught this blogging medium, which is more popular than other advertising ways. Bloggers get a little amount of that advertising, but still they are happy because may be they cannot earn much from Google AdSense, writing paid posts has opened a door to earn some money.

PayPerPost has started a new site “SocialSpark” which is equally popular among advertisers and bloggers who want to earn from paid to post/paid to review or get paid to reviews.

Although Google didn’t like this marketing or advertising medium and it has taken the page rank of many sites which are involved in ‘get paid to review’ posts. But IZEA has invented a solution for this situation, as it is helping blogger see the real page rank from their site.

IZEA is now more active in Social Media Marketing services, blog sponsorships and product sampling. So for advertisers it is a good chance of get traffic for their sites or products from very genuine visitors.

Useful resources to “Download FREE e-books”

Posted by youlki22 on July 1, 2008

I love to read books and internet has provided us an opportunity to read many e-books online or offline. Often I need to purchase e-books online, but I have realized that internet has many resources which offer FREE e-books and if you are lucky one (may be like me) then you can dig out those sites and read FREE stuff. whenever I find sites or blogs offering free stuff, first I check the link and then share it with my blog readers.

I have written onepost or more posts on free online e-books and readers liked the posts. Today’s post is about a site from where you can download many e-books.
Get free books is offering FREE download of e-books with a lot of tites. The ebooks which you find within this site are collected from all over the net. I could find many topics of my interest and could easily download e-books from the site. E-books are easy to search as side bar provides “catagories” to choose. You just click on your favourite topic and next page provides list of books alongwith a short review. I like the idea of review, as It explains which kind of e-book we are going to download.

Some other sites with free e-books offer:

- Directory of free online books
- Tux mobile provides links to free e-books and audio books for mobile computers.
- Librarian Chick a collection of links to the best of the Internet’s FREE resources. There are free e-books, audio books, site links and a lot more.
- Plough books offers self help books. Plough is the publishing house of a community movement of families and single people whose common basis is faith in Jesus.

A free advertisement place at the internet “Craiglist”

Posted by youlki22 on June 30, 2008

I heard the “Craiglist” 2 years ago, when I was searching for online jobs. I planned to earn some pocket money doing work at home jobs. After searching at search engines, I realized that most of the sites demand money to get online jobs or simply they were scams. After logging on to “Craiglist” I was really amazed to see that I was getting online job offers on daily basis and not only for job seekers or job providers, it offers lot of other stuff FREE of cost to internet users.

This post would help you know in detail about “Craiglist”, providing you tips and links to get most out of this famous site.

According toWikipedia:
“Craigslist is a central network of online communities, featuring free classified advertisements (with jobs, internships, housing, personals, erotic services, for sale/barter/wanted, services, community, gigs, resume, and pets categories) and forums on various topics.”

The service was founded in 1995 by Craig Newmark for the San Francisco Bay Area. After incorporation as a private for-profit company in 1999, Craigslist expanded into nine more U.S. cities in 2000. As of September 2007, Craigslist had established itself in approximately 450 cities in 50 countries.
What more site offers?

The site serves over nine billion page views per month, putting it in 56th place overall among web sites world wide, ninth place overall among web sites in the United States (per Alexa.com on January 10, 2008), to over thirty million unique visitors. With over thirty million new classified advertisements each month, Craigslist is the leading classifieds service in any medium. The site receives over two million new job listings each month, making it one of the top job boards in the world. The classified advertisements range from traditional buy/sell ads and community announcements, to personal ads and even erotic services.

The things you can do with craiglist!
Craigslist Forums
With forums for housing to self-employment, you’re sure to find a Craigslist Forum that helps you in some way.
Post Free Classified Ads
You can post free classified ads for pretty much anything at Craigslist. I’ve sold a truck and gotten rid of a very heavy hide-a-bed this way.
Find a Job on Craigslist
There are all sorts of interesting jobs on Craigslist. Just find your city, look under Jobs, then look under your job category. Non-profit, systems, government, writing, etc. jobs are all represented here.
Craigslist Housing
Use Craigslist to find your next home, from apartment living to residential listings to vacation rentals. I recently found a beach rental here for less than it costs our family to go camping!
Subscribe to RSS Feeds
If you are looking for something specific, say a Queen Anne brocaded couch circa 1965, you can set up a Craigslist alert to be notified when something new pops up that fits your criteria. This is how you do it:
Go to your city’s Craigslist, and click on “Furniture.”
Then enter your search term(s), what you’re willing to pay, and whether you’re looking for something from a furniture dealer or private seller.
When you’re done, click “Enter.”
Scroll to the bottom of the page.
You’ll see an orange button with the letters RSS. Click on that button.
You’ll see a whole page of funny lookin’ code in your browser window. Copy that page’s URL and paste it into your favorite feed reader.
Now you can be notified via your feed reader every time an item is posted on Craigslist that meets your criteria.

Craigslist Jobs: The best jobs can be found easily at Craigslist. All you need to do is find your city, then click on the job category that most interests you. Many job specialities are represented here, including non-profit, technical support, education, and more.
Craigslist Real Estate: Again, all you need to do is click on the city that you’re interested in and find the “real estate” link. Many, many homes are bought and sold here.
Craigslist For Sale: My favorite part of Craigslist. I’ve bought and sold two couches here, a truck, and pet supplies, all for far less than what I would’ve spent in the store.
Craigslist Discussion Forums: Talk about anything from housing to politics. The discussions here can get pretty heated, but I’ve found them to be sources of great information on various issues.

“Good Reads” for book lovers

Posted by youlki22 on June 13, 2008

I am a lover of reading books. From the very early age, I always dreamed about having a library of books, on variety of topics. I still love reading books and it helped me a lot with my teaching career also.
Even searching at the net doesn’t stops me from reading, I still read a lot at the net.

Good Reads is a free community site for book lovers.

More about the site:
“Imagine it as a large library that you can wander through and see everyone’s bookshelves, their reviews, and their ratings. You can also post your own reviews and catalog what you have read, are currently reading, and plan to read in the future. Don’t stop there – join a discussion group, start a book club, contact an author, and even post your own writing.”

Their mission is to help you find new and interesting books by letting you see what your friends are reading. Whenever you view a book, they always show you your friends’ reviews first. When you log in, the homepage will show all the latest reviews from your friends. You can also compare your book list to that of another Goodreads member to see if you share the same taste! Click the “explore” tab to browse our top shelves, find popular and unpopular books (among your friends or all of Goodreads).

How to start?
Select books that you have read, that you are reading, or that you want to read and add them to “your books”. You can do this by searching for books (our catalogue already has most books), by looking at your friends’ lists, or by entering a book we don’t have yet. Rating a book automatically adds it to your books (and to your “read” shelf).
- You start with three default shelves (read, currently-reading, and to-read), but you can also create your own bookshelves. Shelf names range from classics and coffee-table-books to childrens-lit and sci-fi — you can create any category that suits your personal taste. Some of our favorite shelves include to-reread, guiltypleasures, chicklit and overrated-drivel
- To add books to your shelves, search by author name or book title. If the book is on Amazon, you’ll find it (and they carry almost everything) — if not, then you have the option to add it manually as a new title. When you find the book you want, you can either click on one of the five stars to rate the book immediately, or click on “add to my books” to choose a shelf, write a review, record the date your read the book, and even note whether you have a copy to sell/swap.

Earn money with your online searches

Posted by youlki22 on June 10, 2008

The idea is not bad at all!
I search a lot on the world wide web. And using a search engine which pays you for your searches was a good idea, but upto now I have used some other search engines, which claim to pay you, but pay rate was very low and their search bar was making my computer slow, that’s why I have to delete those search bars.

I have been using the My search funds for few days, and I am happy to share this earning opportunity to all. I have earned few cents for a few days use of this search engine and their search bar or home page is not creating any problem for my computer. The money they are offering for your searches is better than the other search engines, which I used before.

You also earn money by referring others to this search engine. It is completely FREE to use. So you don’t have to loose anything and you earn for doing nothing (the same job of searching the net).

The people who love to search at the internet can earn money by using this search engine.
How they pay you?
- They split the revenue generated on searches with us. So there is
- Sign in to your account and tell us how you want to be paid: either into your bank account or via PayPal
- They pay you every 30 days, 45 days after each month end. e.g. For searches in January we pay you in mid March
- There is a £20 minimum payment, so if you have not reached this amount in any month it will hold the payment over to the next month.

How much we can earn?
They say: “How much money received clearly depends upon how much you use the service for your typical day to day Internet searches. Based upon our experience to date we estimate that the average user regularly searching the internet could readily raise in excess of £50 per year.”

You don’t need to change your browser or anything, so you keep on searching in the normal way and the most important thing is that “The search results you will see are just the same as they would be by accessing the search engine from any other location.”

* Register by clicking on the banner, so I would be getting referral bonus:
