An interesting online personality test

Posted by youlki22 on April 29, 2008

I love searching the web, and like to browse interesting, unusual and fun sites. I also prefer to write about the links, sites or blogs, which offer useful information.

There are many online personality assessment tests which are organized or prepared by psychologists or researchers and give you an overall profile of your personality. Despite of the fact that these tests don’t give you guarantee of accuracy, but there is a curiosity of knowing more about our own personality or even about our near and dear ones. Sometimes we can get some guideline from these test results, to make ourselves better in many ways.

Today’s site I am writing about is another interesting site and better to take this personality assessment test very entertaining.
Draw Things.com offers online personality test. Interesting thing involved in this test is that you are asked to draw a picture at provided space and then instantly your drawing is analyzed.

Remember that the personality analysis given is based on tests that are meant to be administered and interpreted by a licensed psychologist, not by a computer. But site doesn’t guarantee you that the analyzed personality profile may be accurate, so take this test and use these results for entertainment purposes.

A blog for papercraft lovers!

Posted by youlki22 on January 19, 2008

No!,——
this is not an origami site, but a different kind of site. Paper Forest is a blog which I wished to find a long ago, while searching for origami projects.

I am an enthusiast of crafts, and making crafts with trash or recycled material is my favourite hobby.
blogbanner.jpg
Blog doesn’t only provide you with a lot of other site links but there are number of paper projects you may try to make yourself.
I am still amazed by watching a wide collection of paper crafts at this blog. There are also links to other sites/blogs or resources relating to the same topic.

About the blogger: “Jaime Zollars” is a painter and when she isn’t painting, she constructs mechanical paper toys or writes about them at blog.
More about her at her :Jaime Zollars blog

Her work, paintings, paper toys, paper craft is amazing. And I am really inspired how she could offer tons of her projects FREE at her blogs? (Every project has details which can be easily followed)

Review: “Idea Explore”- A place for sharing ideas!

Posted by youlki22 on January 10, 2008

An idea can really make difference
We really need suggestions or ideas for doing things properly. And using others ideas can save our time also.
But is there any place where we can share our ideas and thus help each other in exploring new dimentions of each and every thing?
index_head.jpg“<
Idea Explore.net is a place where people share their ideas to improve things.
At IdeaExplore giving or taking ideas is free.
The goal is to help improve the world a little at a time by helping good ideas and the people who can implement them find each other. There is a collection of over 1000 ideas for improving the world at IdeaExplore

IdeaExplore has quoted:
If you have an apple and I have an apple and we exchange apples then you and I will still each have one apple. But if you have an idea and I have an idea and we exchange these ideas, then each of us will have two ideas.” — George Bernard Shaw

What you can do at IdeaExplore?
- Submit your own idea
- How to submit?
- Explore ideas contributed by other people, using either words in their ideas or specific topics.
- You can click on the sun next to each idea to rate it. The bigger the sun, the higher the idea has been rated.
- It would be interesting to know that IdeaExplore announced a $100 monthly award just to encourage people to use ideas from IdeaExplore in the most interesting, constructive, or inspiring way.
during its 2.5 year life the award did not encourage more than a handful of people to use ideas from IdeaExplore, it has been cancelled.

More about the site:
Created in November 2000 by Larry Baum, a biologist in Hong Kong. He himself contributed many ideas at the site.
